FALL 2024 FAQ:

The Fall Baseball Season for Western Hills is traditionally a developmentally focused season, therefore players are eligible to play Fall 2024 under their Spring 2025 age.

• Fall is a chance to play "ahead" and get a preview of the division they will be eligible for this Spring season.
  
  
• Players benefit from having this additional time to adjust to new rules, new fields (usually bigger field) all before the more formal & competitive Spring Season begins.

• *Please note* WHLL follows the 2025 LITTLE LEAGUE® official age chart for every player. WHLL will not place any player "up" or "down" into a different division. During the registration process, this form will automatically place your player into the correct age group. *Please note* A player's "Little League Age" age may not correlate to your players current age.

A few more important items to note before registering for WHLL Fall 2024 Baseball:

• Coaches and other volunteers, please have a copy/photo of your Government Issued ID available during registration. All Coaches and volunteers are now required to submit a copy/photo of their ID to volunteer. This is a Little League National requirement and although a bit of a pain upfront, it does streamline this process tremendously on the backend for us and Little League National. Pro Tip* snap a picture of your drivers license on your phone and email it to yourself. This is a quick and easy way to provide a photo of your ID.
  
  
• During registration you will be required to select your school from the drop down menu. If your school is not listed please select "other" and send us an email after you register so we can add your school to our list.
  
  
• Please use your permanent home address when registering. For example, if you are temporarily renting outside of your permanent home, please use your permanent address to create your account. Proof of residency is not immediately required to register your players but may be required at a later date. 
  
  
• After completing registration, you will receive a notification to complete and email your medical waiver to [email protected]. Please plan to complete this item before the season starts but it is not immediately required to register your player(s).
  
  
• During registration you may be asked to provide a school verification letter or player report card, this is not required at this time but may be required at a later date.

Please note the following important Fall Baseball dates:

08/01/2024 : Fall 2024 Baseball registration is open!
08/15/2024:  Fall registration will close!
09/03/2024 : Practices Begin
09/16/2024:  Games Begin
11/20/2024:  Season Ends

Q. What is a typical practice and game schedule for my division?

• Game and practice schedules are not determined until after registration is closed and teams are formed. In the Fall, there will be no Saturday games, meaning all games will be played during the week.
  
  
• Practices will start 2-3 weeks before games begin. Practices will be the same day and time each week. 

Q. Can I request a certain team or coach?

• For players ages 4-7 we will do our best to accommodate requests for friends and coaches, but can not guarantee all requested will be granted. Most teams are formed with the players school in mind, so chances are you will be on a team with friends from school. *Upon completing registration, please email [email protected] with you a copy of your registration receipt and request.
  
  
• For players ages 8 and above, we do not grant such requests because teams are put together via Coach-led drafts.

Q. Does Western Hill offer financial aid to help with registration fees?

• Yes. Financial aid is available for families residing within league boundaries and who are experiencing financial hardships. Please contact our registration team at [email protected] to request assistance.
